1999 Chevy S10 front end damage repair
Hello I am new here I have some questions that I hope someone here can help me with. I have a 1999 Chevy S10 extended cab 4x2 truck with front end damage. My mom was driving and multiple deer ran out in front of her. One deer must have hit the front passenger corner right on the headlight doing the main damage. One or maybe two hit putting dents behind the driver side door and again right in front of the taillight. The entire passenger side front grill and headlight was smashed out. Also the radiator was pushed into the clutch fan. the clutch fan looks fine the plastic blade all seem solid and doesn't seem bent so I am going to leave it.
Right now I am in the process of straightening out the grille support and the tip of the passenger fender. I should be able to loosen everything and tweak it back into place pretty well the door only hits in a very tiny spot. I have a replacement hood, radiator, fan shroud, grille, passenger side headlight, and running light lens.
I purchased an aftermarket grille without clips. I managed to find 8 clips from the few pieces of plastic left of the grille. I dont have much money at the moment so I need to reuse everything I can. My question is whats is the best way to place the grill clips on the plastic grille. Its really weak flimsy plastic to work with i don't want to break the brand new grille. The dig right in the plastic once they are pushed on. Its crazy all that holds the grille on is 11 of these clips I cannot find anywhere for screws to hold it.
Sorry for the long first post I just thought someone else on here might have some experience with the plastic grille and these clips. I know its not custom work but I like the looks of the new style stock s10 grilles after 1998.

I don't know if this would work out, but you have some good chevrolet repair questions there. I think that you may find out the solution on that one by making things work out in your own favor. In this way, you can repair it if ever, and buy a good part for your vehicle in order to compensate your needs in the long run. I hope that all will be well in the future. Try searching other resources as well in order to ease up your problems on that one.

Yeah that was a long time ago you really revived this old thread lol. I got it all fixed up now I just reused all the old clips I could find from what was left of the old grill. It was tricky getting them to clip onto the new grill without breaking it but I got it them on there. I did end up getting a new passenger side fender. The one hit by the deer never would have looked right once straightened out. I did the best I could with the resources I had at the time. The only thing I couldn't fix was the A/C I still need to replace the damaged condenser. The bumper has a little kink and the hood I got has a wierd little dent in the top but nothing I am extremely worried about.
I have attached a couple before and after pictures if anyone is interested in seeing it. lol
