Hello,

I'm rebuilding a 4.3 vortec v6 pulled from a 2000 Blazer LS. The one thing I cannot workout is how to remove the lifter retainers. I can see where they bolt to the block, however there appears to be a plastic cover over the bolts. Can anybody offer advice before I potentially break something!
