When the "passenger" door is opened the radio will shut off but the interior lighting will not activate? I am assuming both circuits are controlled by the same door jam pin... Anyone else come across this? Where might be the problem?
P.s. All functions work as it should when opening the "drivers" door. Dome overide also works as intended.

There is a switch that when activated will keep the interior lighting from coming on no matter what the door switch does. make sure this is not your problem.

the door switch itself has 3 contacts, i cant say for sure but i imagine when the door is open two contacts are touching (something like A and B) then when the door is closed two are touching (something like A and C). so killing the radio might be from A and C touching while the light might be from A and B. and theres just an issue with the "B" terminal but not the others. you could go to the parts store and get one and test it with an OHMs tester and compare it to yours.
seams like the switch is a spdt (Single Pole Double Throw)
