After coming up to speed after stopping at stop sign, normal driving, engine just stalled. Tried to restart but after few tries battery dead. Towed home and charged all night but still dead. Replaced with new but still no start. Checked fuel pressure..60 psi and held for hours. Pulled plug wire installed good plug grounded no spark. Checked all fuses. Replaced ignition coil still no spark. While turning over, I heard pop every once in a while coming out of intake, like the timing was off but had not done anything to distributor. I replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor along with K&N air filter about 6 months ago. I'm stumped. Truck has just under 71,000 miles.

 

Problem solved. Gear on bottom of distributor the pin sheared off and shaft bushing shot. Installed new distributor.
