i have a 2002 s10 pick up 4.3 ltre vortec v6 2wd automatic, i have a promlem when my truck sits for 2-3 hrs. or overnight without starting, when i go to start it it will turn over and turn over but it wont start, but when it starts it runs smoothly and thair is'nt any loss of power, after it starts i can turn it off and it will start right up the problem only occures when the truck sits overnight or when it sits 2-3 hrs.

 

Sounds exactly like a fuel pump to me. What happens is you lose fuel pressure when it sits for a while, but if you start it within a few minutes it doesn't have to repressurize.
