4.3 No start when hot
So my old 88 4,3 throttle body is still having this problem. It seems to start and run without problems. Runs good, no issues with it while driving. Problem comes later on, After driving for 1/2 hour or more, stopping and shutting it off, it won't start back. It will crank until the battery is gone but it won't start. Once it cools down for a few hours it starts without problem. I read somewhere about a temp sensor that could cause this problem. I replaced that and tried it again. At first I thought that fixed it, but soon discovered differently. I guess I'm back where I started. The sensor I replaced looked like this one.
Maybe that was the wrong sensor, or maybe that just isn't the problem?
