How bad would it be to swap out the 2.8 engine and trans to a v8? I have a 350 engine. I also have a 4.3 engine and trans. I need a small truck with some power to use as a plow truck for my families driveways. The truck is on a 3 inch body lift kit and it's a 4x4. I'm going to stay carbureted so I won't have to deal with any computers

 

Youll need motor mounts, radiator, headers are nice gotta have them specifically for s10 because they wrap around steering. You'll also need a different oil pan. Hope the other trans is 4x4. Me and my dad did this with a 2wd 87 but it is tbi with 700r4. Had to extend a couple wires and get a computer chip. Simpler with carburetor but those are the main things you need. We had to beat on the fire wall a little so we could get to the distributor. I would google it and get some more input because i may have left out something
