My chevy s-10 blazer 87 model idles high and the check engine light keeps blinking rapidly the engine floods on restart it idles about 2200 to 2300 rpms dont know what to do to slow it down have changed coolant temp sensor changed the tps sensor have changed the computer have changed gasket under the throttle body the iac valve does not control any part of the idle like it should have changed it out four times with good used ones check engine light flashes so rapidly it causes the bulb to blow never noticed when the light problem started but the idle and gas fumes smell very strong out the exhaust is when i really started to notice the problem used thirty dollars worth of gas to go see my mother and it's only 18 miles round trip any ideas or anything would be helpful of any sort i'm a disabled vet and despratley need my vehicle to run.
