Default 88 S-10 ac compressor interchange question

I have been trying to find out what other chevy car or truck uses the same ac compressor anybody know of an interchange system like hollander software that is a free service?
I have been told that the early to mid 90's chevy/gm's any where from the 2.5 to the 2.8 and some 3.1's would work but when I go check autozone the part numbers are different. anyone know of something that fits for sure. thanks
btw my truck is 1988 s-10 2.5 L

If your looking on Autozone (exmaple) find your part number and then google search your part numbers. I've dont this plenty of times before. Also, if you stop by a parts store, they should be able to look it up, may not have the parts in stock, but the database should have that info they can compare too.
