Question 95 blazer idles high.

My 95 blazer 4.3L idles high until you touch the gas then the RPMS go down. I think its the idle air control valve.. but i just dont know where it is on my blazer i was wondering if someone could help me locate it or link a picture of the engine diagram seeing as the owners manual doesnt have a diagram.

check out www.autozone.com they have a new technical section that can help you locate this information that is free of charge.

My understanding of the configuration of your engine from the information provided is that you have 4.3L Vortec V6 Vin Code W, with CPI Fuel Injection, so I can not recall from the top of my head the part you are referring to, other then to say it should be part of the Throttle body assemble located where the air intake tube, from the air filter connects to the Air intake plenum.

Sorry I wish I had a direct link to share.

this is the Haynes Manual for your make and year.
