ok last year i bought a gmc sonoma. it has the manual 5 speed tranny. i believe its the nv 1500. im trying to get oil for in it. went to the parts store that we use at work and the guy said he used 80w90 gear oil and motorcraft friction modifier in her sonoma ( same trans) i bought some but havent put it in yet i wanted to make sure that it would work.
