i bought a 95 gmc sonoma that has a 1999 2.2 engine, had no coil, put in the coil, and noticed there is a knock sensor like next to the sensor that hooks up to the coil, that was unpluged, there is no connector that it so i have no way of hooking it up, so i was told that the 99 2.2 is a bit different in that of the sensor, when i start it up, it starts up fine, but lacks of power, and shakes bad almost as if it had a bad mount. trucks a 5 speed and does not have much power at all.. also noticed it sounds like a misfire of somekind, and i can hear rocker arm sound as if it wanted to shut off..anyone know what the problem is, is there a way the knock sensor could be affecting it, if so how can i by pass it..thanks in advance.
