I just finished changing the fuel pump and filter in my s10 and it starts up quick and effortlessly and idles smooth. But when I am in park and press the gas to raise the RPM's up a bit it makes this sound that reminds me of a turbo charger kicking in and the power drops out for just a moment then starts back at a low RPM and will do so over and over till I let off the gas. I'm looking for help identifying this problem and hopefully fixing it without to much hassle.

Also I do not have a check engine light either.
