Default Brakes

Decided to check the handbrake/emergency brake whatever you call it in the US was working today, nothing, no grip at all. Feels like a bit of pressure on the handle so don't think its the cables. Looks like I will be busy with this. Any tips on sorting this problem?

If you have rear disc brakes, you may need to adjust the shoes in the drums.

i had a 99 blazer and mine had discs in the back. there is an adjustment nut on the driver side next to the frame. pretty much right under the driver door. obviously adjust this without the ebrake applied and just adjust and test until you feel it works right.
