Hi i was wondering if you can take an s10 out of 4wd manually?

 

What do you mean?? I'm guessing you have the push button 4WD??

 

yeah i have an 01 with push button and its stuck in 4low, and its my daily driver so im guessing the actuator is bad but i was wondering if you can take them out manually some how?

yea i'd also like to know. i got a buddy with a s10 that always has issues so it'd be nice to know

 

yeah if you crawl under by the transfer case you have to take the skid plate off and take the transfer case motor off and just turn that shaft that sticks out to get it to 2wd turn it towards the back of the truck, its not the quickest process but if you stuck in 4low it will get your truck back on the road
