Default Coolent leak

Just got a Blazer 4.3 2001 British model, got a problem with coolent leaking from the top end of the motor.
As you look at the block to the left it looks like the leak is between the case & the head, just behind where a braided hose enters the block. When you grab the large hose from the Radiator & pump it, it bubbles from the same gap.
Its dont seem to hold the coolent, oil is clean, oil pressure at 250 to 275 & temp at 100.
The problem only happened today & i pulled up when i spotted the steam rising from the hood in traffic.
Any ideas people, im just hope it not the head gasket.

Assuming Celsius and N/m, I'm almost sure you have a failed intake manifold gasket.

Definately not. Intake manifold gasket failure isn't a problem you can ride around though! Park it or take it to a mechanic ASAP. You could be leaking coolant inside the engine as well.

You're welcome! If you are looking for an intake, make sure you get it for the right hand drive. The American lefty has a different underhood config than the right hander.

Just had my radiator replaced because it was losing coolent and wasn't reaching normal temp. But for the past two weeks the coolent has been low and it smells like burning antifreeze. I was thinking it was a gasket but my question was how much it would be to replace the gasket if I had to get it replaced.

That would be difficult to say really. The best you could do for yourself is to call around to a few shops and ask for an estimate.
