Default Engine brakedown

Hello, I come from Germany. I own a S10 1985 2.8ltr V6. Can one also grow a bigger engine to this gear? With us there are many Pontiac TransSport 3.8ltr this engine fits? thank you beforehand!

The trans-sport engines if I am not mistaken, only fit up to the front-wheel-drive chassis, so, the only engine I think you could put in it would be a 4.3L from a newer S10, Blazer, or Astro.

http://www.60degreev6.com/ A couple hours of searching this site and youll be a gm v6 expert! I might be wrong but i think the transmission bolt pattern is different between the 2.8 and 4.3. Maybe a 3.1/3.4 swap might make a better choice (sameengineplatform). Be sure search the site to make sure the starter placement is correct if you end up useing a front wheel drive motor. Im not saying the 3.8 swap is impossible, if it will bolt to your transmission and you can find the right motor mounts theres a chance. It would be more work than its worth though (in my mind).
