Default Help Replacing Door Hinge Mount

Hi, Im somewhat mechanically inclined but I need some help removing this door hinge and replacing it. This is a picture of the passenger side, the driver's side is what needs replaced but I do not want to open the door because the pin has been ripped from the hinge and it's a pain to shut the damn door.

Does this need to be heated up with a torch and then removed or something? It's attached by some kind off alloy or something. I'd really like to get this done; It's a pain in the butt getting in and out of the vehicle. Any help is greatly appreciated.

its welded to the a-pillar. your not getting that off neatly without a plasma cutter. It not made to be removed.

They do have hinge pins and bushings replacement parts. Will they not work for you?

The whole hinge needs replaced because I think the door was bent so far back that it separated the metal where the pin locks. I guess I'll have to take it to a shop, but first. I have to find a replacement hinge. That's probably not going to be easy. Any suggestions online? I appreciate the reply.

The hinges are spot welded to the pillar and the door, you need to drill out the spot welds to get the hinge off. The replacement hinge bolts on, here's an example of the hinge on e-bay.

El correcto good sir, keeps the moisture out so corrosion won't take the door off when you least expect. Use a good silicone caulk when put the new hinge to keep it rust free.

@Gramps43

Thanks for the reply. I am going to attempt to get this off tomorrow, however, I can't find a replacement part on ebay. The link you provided to ebay is not the correct hinge. I am going to have to try a junk yard around here. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find this part?

Me thinks you would be better off getting a new one. Anything you would find ate the JY would have to be removed in the same way you have to remove the bad one and you wouldn't get the backing plate and cap screws to in stall it. There are lots of hinges listed on e-bay you should be able to find the one you need. If not then lmctruck.com has then, a bit more spendy but they will fit.
