Don't think theres any electric pumps. I wouldn't get one anyway. If you want more flow, you need to change the thermostat. You wouldn't really gain anything from putting more coolant through anyway, you'd just have a huge temperature swing.

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to put the Taurus 3.8 electric fan on the Blazer. I have problems overheating while waiting in traffic (1.5 hours to cross from Mex back to US). My brother-in-law has installed the fan on his Jeep with great sucess. Do you have any other recommendations. I will check into the termostat and flush/clean the radiator. What anit-freeze coolant do you recommend? Thanks.

The Taurus fans are the closest fit, but its really only a cheap junkyard alternative to buying a fan kit specifically made to replace the fan shroud on the Blazer. I would buy the kit.

People use the taurus fan, because most of the purpose built ones are obnoxiously expensive for how well they work, lol.

Still, no electric fan that I know of, that fits, will pull anywhere near as much as the mechanical fan...

Question electric fan

I want the electric fan because at idle the mech fan does not deliver in the heat of AZ and Mexico. I set in line to cross the border for about 1.5 hours. Any input on water pumps? Thanks for the feedback.
