Default Intake Manifold gasket?

I have a 2003 Chevy S10 V6. Yesterday, out of nowhere, the temp gage went up to the red. I pulled over and shut it off... had a look under the hood and saw antifreeze bubbling out of the manifold near the bolts...

I added antifreeze to the radiator and water to the reserve and after that it ran cool.

Any thoughts?

sounds like intake gaskets are leaking between port and mounting bolt. I would check for more seepage, and water level over next few days.

keep checking your oil and coolant, sounds like intake gasket. 1 or 2 day job if its a first time for you. would suggest not running the car until the gasket is fixed as you could do more damage.
