Chevrolet produced two different variations of the 2.2-liter S-10 pickup. One model type used the typical spark plug and wire system that connects into coil packs; the other featured coils above the spark plugs with no spark plug wires. plugs are #'d 1-2-3-4 as you stand in front of the truck, w/#1 being the closest, #4 being the furthest from you..if your model has the seperate coil paks, and not the coilpak-over-spark-plug, the packs are located behind the fender well on the drivers' side and I believe there is a flap access panel to expose...many reccomend, if has A/C, to remove the 4 mtng bolts for the compressor, but leave lines attached, and temp move compressor to one side for easier access for plug removal/replacement...the engine firing order is 1-3-4-2 and plug gap is .045...hope this helps
