Default Newbie to the board with a wiring question

Hey all, glad to be here; and thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
I recieved for free an 85 s-15. The previous owner had swapped in a 4.3 but abandoned the project when the wiring became an issue lol.
So I am inthe process of rewiring the entire truck, which is almost done.

I have hit a wall now though. Heres the deal; The dash is from a manual trans 88 s10. The wiring harness is from an 89 automatic blazer. The truck is currently running (kind of). But there is these 2 connectors in the cab (1 male from the computer, and 1 female that goes to the dash.) My assumption is that its for the check engine light and aldl connector, which I desperately need. The wiring colors are different and so is the connector. Does anybody know which wire is which? My chilton wiring diagram doesnt even mention aldl or any of these wires.

I don't think they will match up, the 85 is OBD1 and the 88 is OBD2

I rewired the entire truck. engine harness (90 something 4.3) new dash and harness (from an 88 s10). So its all obd2, i just dont know how to get these wires to match. I'm pissed because I paid 100 bux for the dash with no wires cut, but im stuck with this and the trucks time is wayyyy off. cant set it without jumping the aldl.

I just looked at my manual trans '88 S10 and the aldl is a black connector that screws to the underside of the dash. It has 5 wires and does not look like either of your connectors. When i worked as a GM electrical tech at a repair shop i nvr saw an aldl that wasn't running the wires directly into the harness.
