Talking omg, any ideads why it did this?

Today i got my intake manifold off my truck beacause it had a high tick and wasnt running right. So we were talking the rods out to get the cam out, and the num 6 exaust push rod wouldnt come out. We got it off and this is wat we found, me and may dad didnt know why it did thsi we had a good laught as u can c the rod is stuck on the hydrolic lifter

probably jumped out of lifter saddle, heated up, got fused to lifter. never seen it before. i'd keep it for a talk-about piece.

yea, my dad suggested that. theres two or four others like that, and itns not even fused exactly. some how it got the retained ring off then it went to the side pressing the top to the side its wedged in there good
