I just gave my truck to my mechanic. 97 S10 2WD 2.2L. He took the fuel tank down to replace my fuel pump. He discovered that the fuel line going from the tank to the chassis was rotted out on both ends.

Does anyone know specifically what line that is so I can ask around for exactly what I'm looking for? I cant get in touch with him for a day or two, so I'm trying to get this done on my own. Also, could I get this line at a local auto parts store or would I have to go to a dealer?

not sure which line is bad. You may be able to order the line from dealer but I'd be interested to know just how much they charge! I ended up using fenco (I believe) aftermarket stuff to fab in my new ones...
