I’m working on a 2003 s-10 4.3L. It will not start. I removed the distributor cap and ohmed it and it was bad. I replaced the distributor cap and rotor. It tries to start but it will not start. It is getting fire to the plugs and getting gas. I lined up the timing and it’s a tdc.

Did you do a fuel pressure check? Getting gas and getting gas at the correct pressure are 2 different things.

 

The fuel pump was recently replaced

 

Did you use an aftermarket fuel pump? Some of them have been known to fail rather quickly.
