S-10 runs rough when warm
I have a 94 S10 with the 4 cylinder engine. When cold, it runs like a dream, just perfect. However, after about 10 minutes of driving, it will start missing and lose power. It will keep running but runs rough. If it sets and cools off for a while, it will again run perfect for a few minutes. Have replaced temp sensor, catalytic conv, muffler, plugs, and pcv valve. Never get the 'check engine' light. Any ideas?
When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?
When you changed your plugs did you change your wires too.
Have your fuel pump checked to see how much pressure it has when it gets warm.

id say the temp sensor, if its broken and is telling the computer that the engine is always cold it will be giving the wrong amount of fuel. but since you changed it, it will be cheaper to bring it someplace and have them scan it to see what sensor isnt reading. or else youll be throwing un needed parts at it and wasting money... unless you just have money to burn then go for it... sure 100 bucks is a lot for someone to take 10 mins to tell you whats wrong with your car but those good scannsers cost like 3-5 grand... and if they tell you whats wrong with it you can always change the part your self, in most cases...
Ok I need help my s10 will crank up just fine but when it warms up it will bog down low and stall out going down the road or a stop I've replaced the fuel injectors distributor disturber cap rotor button the computer iac vavle the fuel pump the throttle position sensor and vacum lines and still doing the same thing it's a 1990 Chevy s10 Tahoe 4.3 tbi 2wd
