Arrow Smog Pump for 90 Chevy S10 Blazer

I've recently bought a 1990 Chevy S10 Blazer and am fixing it up.We have done all the basic "tune up" stuff. We have also had to replace the fuel tank and pump. Now I am confused on whether a smog pump has been fitted in this year of my vehicle. I called the dealer and he says no, I call the auto shops around town, they say no, but the internet is confusing me. When the engine first starts, it runs a little high, and driving uphill its pulling from the engine. And every once in a while, I have white smoke coming from the tailpipe. Any advice out there?

No smog pump for sure. Slightly high idle when starting cold is normal as long as it comes down shortly after. White smoke could be oil burning possible valve seals or a pvc system problem (look in the hoses for oil). What do you mean buy pulling on the engine? Lack of power?

I don't know much about cars to reallly define "pulling." When going on a level surface or downhill, it has a lot of "get up and go." When going uphill, it tends to not have much power...I'm not sure if that is normal or not.
