The dash on my Red 2002 ZR2 was cracked in multiple places, so purchased a replacement.
Old one came off in pieces. While starting to put in the new one, I found this clear plastic piece on the floor.
No idea where it came from or where it goes. Seems to be some kind of lens, but where???
So, in examining my Air Bag Switch, I discovered it was siliconed together. When the dash came out, this was loose and had a broken mounting tab. When I got the switch apart, there was an obvious place where the clear lens went. I replaced it and after cleaning all the surfaces, epoxied it back together. I'll follow up on if it's working or now.
