U joint problems

U joint problems
I have a 99 sonoma and the u joint went out on me yesterday but when me and my dad pulled the driveshaft the u joint looks more like a cv joint and neither one of us has delt with these before and i was wandering if anyone here has

if it is a cv joint they can be a real pain ,if you have never done one before you might want to farm it out to a machine shop or drive line shop . they typically have two u-joint's on the one end with a spring tensioned yoke .
