Default weird noise

recently got a 2000 zr2,v6,4x4,auto, during cold starts the engine starts fine but when I i accelerate theres a nioce that sounds like ball bearings bouncing around in the engine. when the truck reachs the normal oporating temp, or if its taken on the highway, the noise goes away. what do you think?

Default RE: weird noise

Howdy, OOzr2. You havea fan clutch that couldbe bad, a belt tensioner with a wheel that gose bad, and the water pump. Try spraying WD40 on the fan clutch and tensioner wheel. It might quiet down and help you diagnose witch componit is noiesy.
