Default 1999 cavalier engine problems, please help

SO I just purchased a 1999 Cavalier 2.2 CNG. It has a rough start, a faulty gas gauge, and stalls. When driving and i come to a complete stop the engine cuts off. Im thinking fuel pump or filter, but this is my first Chevy. any ideas?

CNG??? no clue.

You'll need a tech for sure.

CNG = Compressed Natural Gas. Manufacturers were experimenting with alternative fuels. While CNG showed enough potential to make it into limited production it was short lived and never made it into the practical range for full scale production.

And to the OP, Sledge is right. You will want a certified tech for this one. While the engine is essentially the same as gasoline cars the fuel system is significantly different and if your issue is in the fuel system we old fashioned shadetree DiY guys simply can not help you because it's out of our league.
