Default Fresh Post of my 2005 Silverado (Video's & Pics)

I think it's about time to make a fresh post of my 2005 Silverado since I have had time today to make video's and take picture's of it.

NEW XENON HID REPLACEMENT BULBS INSTALLED TODAY!
They're white with a slight bluish tint to them, much brighter than my Sylvania Silverstars were, but you may not be able to tell too much of the brightness in the video.

First video is of my Flowmaster Super 44 (Not duels)

(I will not have my Silverstars as headlights anymore, my new lights come in tomorrow. My new lights are Xenon Krypton Blue HID's. So, hopefully they will be bright. I will make a new video tomorrow during the day and night to show you the new lights.)
Second video is of my truck at night: Sylvania Silverstar 4000K Headlights, Xenon Crystal White HID Foglights, and Red LED Tail/Brake lights. (I couldn't do the brake though because I didn't have a way to do it tonight, being by myself)

The third video is of my recent purchase of my Sylvania Silverstar Turn Signals - Night Video

I might add the few night pictures I took tonight if I think I want to. But I think the video's will do for now. And of course, I have the old longer video of the walk around of my truck plus the general lee horn if you guys want me to post it again.

Nice clean truck! Thanks for taking the time to share.
It sounds great and once you get those HID's in I bet you'll be shouting from the top of the hill. "I CAN SEE!! I CAN SEE!!"

Thanks. I just installed the HID's now, and they're brighter than my Sylvania Silverstars were. They have the slight bluish tint to them too. I can't wait till tonight to drive with them, as well as take a video to post here.

I even just got back from washing the truck, so it'll be clean for the video too, ha ha.
By the way, not sure if I have ever told you, but I like your Blazer, and especially the Camaro Z28, very clean.

Default New HID Xenon flickering

I just installed my HID xenon 8000k lights on a 03 silverado which are awesome but sometimes they flicker. Ive checked the wire harness and the connections to and from the ballasts but i still sometimes get the flickering any suggestions? Thanks

Hello Ragant20. I had 8000K HID's on this truck for a couple of years, and they too would flicker. Quite a bit actually. I don't know how to fix it, but someone told me about some anti-flicker ballasts you can get for around $35 a piece. I didn't get them cause of their price though.

I want to let everyone know that on Thursday I no longer have my 2005 Silverado Z71. I went to my nearest Chevy dealer, and they showed me a Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie since they didn't have a used Chevy I liked. My first thoughts were "A dodge???... No way!" But after driving it, it was a smoother ride then my Chevy! So I decided to let them go ahead and do some figures. After they did the figures I COULD NOT decline! The payments were only $72 more then my Chevy. So I started to think, "Keep my Chevy which now has 91,000 miles, or get an 08 Dodge with only 24,000 for a great deal?". My friend has one of the cheapest dodges you can get, and his was only $300 less, so I know this was a GREAT deal. So I said yes. No worries though, I'm still a hardcore Chevy man, but I couldn't pass up this deal and needed a newer truck.
