K&N Intake System Whistle (Fresh install with TBS)
I just installed a k&n cold air intake with an Airaid throttle body spacer on my 2011 Silverado (5.3L). The tube that came with the intake (63-3070) doesn't seem to like up perfectly because the TBS pushes that side of the tube out further. However, I was still able to get the tube clamped on but it doesn't sit perfectly flush. I hear a whistle when I press the gas and it sounds like it's coming from the filter box. I've heard people say it may go away in a couple of weeks but that just doesn't seem right.
Is it possible the tube isn't flush with the adapter inside the boot and that's what may cause the whine?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks guys, I took off the TBS and the whistle went away immediately. Truck sounds great when I get on the gas. The check engine light comes on about 15 miles after reset but I think it will go away soon.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
