gas milage on 6.0 2500

Default gas milage on 6.0 2500
I just bought a 2014 6.0 2500 4x4 silverado. I drive like a grandpa already. And I'm only getting 7 mpg. I could live with 12 or 13 but 7. And it doesn't pull any better than my 04 1500 did. Is this normal?
