Traded my old 97 Chevy for this 2006. It has a 4.8L V8. Upgrades coming will be a Spectre CAI, Magnaflow Dual exhaust, HID lighting and fog. If you can think of anything else I should or need to add. Please feel free to let me know.

What is this in regards to? Are you in the right post?

good lookin' truck. How do you like that 4.8? Are you wishing you had the 5.3?

I like the 4.8. It has done the work I need it to do. I only haul minor things around such as dirt, grass (lawn grass), and home improvement things. In city gas is terrible, but better on highway. Couldn't imagine how much worse the 5.3 would be. Then again it should be obvious that I wasn't looking for fuel economy when I bought a truck. All in all, I'm happy with the power the 4.8 gives me. Thanks

Nice work on the trade - your new truck looks awesome. Man, I would love to see it in action - hauling lots of heavy things around like bricks, boulders, and sheep (ha j/k on the sheep... or not!)

Tried forever to log into this forum and gave up. I finally got the right info and I'm free........ Yes I still have the same truck. Have done some upgrades to it. I'll add some pics later. Just good to be back.
