Blower Motor stopped working

Blower Motor stopped working
2016 Chevy Equinox, 4 wheel drive, 2.4 L engine.
So my blower motor is temperamental.. works sometimes, last year my mechanic took it apart and couldn't find anything wrong with it and its been working great till 2 weeks ago.. it keeps dripping onto the passenger side floor.
It stopped working, then later on started working again but when you go thru all the speeds that doesn't change at all it stays on one setting. Then 3 days ago stopped and would not come back on.. So my son took it out today and put a new one in.. stopped once today but came on a bit later when clicking the buttons.. then I went out tonight I went fast around a corner, it started squeaking.. So my son took it back out and it had a lot of water in it.. what should I do now?
