Help anybody ....
For 2007 Silverado 1500
Have active Stabilitrak service message and have had zero success locating a GM part # 15886733 due to being discontinued .
Found a reference to p/n 19418403 as being used in 2013 cadillacs and being wired similar to the ‘07-09 silverado product line.
My quandry is how is this possible when the 19418403 sensor is an 8 pin sensor and the 15886733 sensor is only 6 pins and 6 wires in a 8 pin connector .
who else has dealt with this issue and what was the resolution to fix it ?
Thanks for your time , and any advice in advance .

However I’ll not pay that price for 3 glorified pieces of plastic when all I need is a $ 50.00 sensor .
I am on the track of far more affordable fix .
I hope the greedy pos that wants that much for it enjoys eating it when they can’t sell it .

Thanks for the link that price appears far more manageable but it is also an 8 pin sensor and I do not know if it would work on my truck as my harness only has 6 leads in an 8 pin connector.
Back to the quandry and as yet unanswered question of will it work or just blow up when energized during self check at start up ????

In my case the erroneous actuation of service stabilitrack light was caused by steering column being 1 Full turn off center as indicated by the Steering angle sensor at center steer .
The wheel must have turned when I had the intermediate shaft disconnected to replace the boots on the cv joints . I reset wheel to center and reconnected intermediate shaft . Now I no longer get that error .
The rough shifting of transmission cleared up when the system had proper intake manifold vacuum .
All light are now cleared off of instrument cluster 🙂
