I have an 98 chevy silverado C2500, ext cab Long bed, 5.7 Vortec 2wd, auto. I looking for suggestions for a camshaft swap, I dont pull or carry any thing of weight..

I wouldn't go too high on the cam. Too many people can't stand the loping with too much camshaft. It's better to increase HP by using higher compression ratio's, like shaving the heads or installing H-C pistons IME. Of course, this might necessitate higher octane gasoline the regular grade fuel.
