I have an inttermittent problem with this truck I got a few years back. It started about a week ago and it really has me stumped. I go to start the truck and when I put the key in it and turn it too the on position most of the time it doesn't light up all the warning lights and such like it should, and when I turn it too start it turns over but won't start. When it does turn on like it is supposed too with the lights it cranks and starts with no real problem. I tried running the codes and I got P1361 - Ignition Coil Control Circuit Low Voltage, but I can't get the codes when it doesn't turn on properly, and I get a "no link" from the scanner. A mechanic said it wasn't getting spark and replaced the coil, but that didn't seem too help. Anyone know what the problem might be.

you could have an ignition switch problem.
