2004 Base Sliverado Battery light
This is the 'base' unit. Manual windows, floor mat, AM/FM with no power windows. Also sold to U-Haul as the $19.95 around the town PU. Purchased new 11,400 yes and less than 500 engine hours.
The battery light glows faintly and can be seen at night from outside the vehicle. Vehicle had not been used in 3 hours or more. I left the unit parked for a week and the light was still visible at night. Stays dim when running. New battery did not fix the problem.
Dealer claims no TSB or recall. The rest of the dash works fine. Mine is a recall vehicle, if that issue comes up.
