Default Bad T/C??

I have a 99 silverado 1500 with a 5.3L 2wd (4l60-e) auto. When i did a rebuild on the truck after the previous owner seized the engine i put in a 5.3L instead of a 4.8L. Everything clips in and bolts up fine and it runs fine, but when I go to move she goes no where. The RPM's rise when i put it into gear but nothing goes to the tires. The first time I installed the trnasmission to the engine the torque converter fell back one click so I ended up pooching my pump. I replaced the pump (brand new) and put the tran. back on. Went to move the truck and still no movement. I checked the tran. lines and it is pumping steady (like a garden hose). Is it possible when the engine seized it destroyed the clutches or something in the torque converter?
