Default Brake Light Problem

I have a '08 Silverado 1500 W/T reg cab, long bed. And the all 3 brake lights are doing the same thing. When I barely push the brake pedal the lights flash for an instance but don't stay on, BUT when I push the pedal more than half way the lights stay on. I've already had the stop light switch replaced. Any other ideas on how to fix the problem?

I don't believe the switch is adjustable if it is similar in design to the 99 to 06 models,I am assuming it is.

That being said, remove it and snap it apart, check the contacts and the plunger for proper operation?

Replace with a Napa or OEM switch...the cheaper brands are known not to work correctly out of the box.

I just want to make sure it can't possibly be anything else before I replace it again.
