Default Cold Air vs. Chip

I have a 2000 1500 4x4 with the V6. which would be better to purchase first a cold air intake or a chip? and which model would you suggest for either?

Personally I'd do both at the same time...

however, you can adjust the settings on most chips, so I'd go with a chip first and then boost it when you get your cold air intake. So make sure the chip has settings... if it doesn't have adjustible settings then you may want to get the intake.

If I were you I would buy the cold air intake first. The reason being is after you do the little mods you like, you can have a custom setting burned on the chip that will take your mods and utilize them even better. I personally like the Airaid products, they sound very tough.
