Default Fueling Problems

When fueling my 2001 Silverado 4x4 fuel keeps kicking off the nozel even at the lowest notch on handle. I have removed and replaced the inlet hose to tank but problem still exists. Any idea to fix problem would help, Thanks

Not trying to be a smart ***, but is this happening at different pumps?

This problem must be chronic. I have the same issue on my 2005 Silverado & on my 2007 Trailblazer. Im thinking it has to be something with the vent not venting enough or properly and it causing it to trip the kill switch. Maybe?

Not sure.... But I have this issue, your not alone.

Ive fixed the issue by holding the nozzle near the connection to the hose and nozzle and elevating it. This allows me to keep the flow going automatically without actually holding the trigger but just holding the entire thing. ****ty, I know.

Thanks for the replys, yes it happens at any fueling station. Problem here in California is you have to have nozzle flush against fuel inlet to stop fumes and backflow. I don't know if tank has a vent do to a closed emision system. Thanks again

Found out that if I hold the nozzle firmly against filler tube I don't have the problem. Might help others with same problem.
