Ok I get the basic principle behind how to do a bed cut for a sub box but I was wondering if there ar any guides out the for more definitive how tos? Also where would I find the fill material to go between my bed and cab so when it rains water does not get in?

What are you going to do to re-inforce the cab around the gaping hole you cut in it?
Also, how are you going to get around the fact that the cab and box move separately?

They sell a rubber boot that goes between the two. I think it is mounted in a frame. I have no idea where to get it. You may want to try a stereo shop that has done that type of install before.

oh okay i see. well in my town there was someone who cut their cab but it was on a chevy s-10. he had a rubber sealer and he used polyurethane caulking to seal the gap and he welded the bed and cab together to get strength.
