How much lift?
Hey guys, I've got a 05 silverado crew cab 4x4. When I bought it the previous owner already cranked the torsion bars enough to level the truck and clear 285's. My question is about how much lift is that in the front end? The reason I ask is it's time for new shocks and I'm trying to figure out what length I need.
Basically I'm looking at some skyjacker nitros and trying to decide if I need the N8009 which are for 0-1", or the n8003 which are for 2-3".

I just got the 5100's last month based on "country 09" suggestion and I am glad I did.
I also called Bilstein service rep for brief discussion to compare the HD's with the 5100's.
the 5100's are plated rather than painted. therefore yours would be colored black and silver plated. the HD's are painted yellow and blue and will chip, dull, and need new paint.
More importantly the 5100 will offer more choices for either a 0 inch lift or several inches of lift down the road..slightly more expensive than the HD but well worth it. I cannot believe what a better ride they give...
