Just picked up a 1997 K1500 Extended cab. Runs good, needs a little work, but most of the issues are cosmetic. My real question is in regards to replacement parts. I need the 3rd door, a corner piece from the cab, and a fender. The truck bed itself needs to be replaced, or I was thinking of building my own custom flat bed type of deal. I'll try and throw on a couple photos, but if anyone out there can give me suggestions on replacement parts or what model years had interchangeable parts (and are the easiest to find) I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Great tip, and found almost everything, except the third door and new truck bed.

i know 95 and under didn't have a 3rd door but for the other body parts any 88-98 truck will work

for the door you may have to shop around junkyards and such. if you are in NE Pennsylvania they have a couple U Pull its.
