One thing I have noticed with my new intake tube is there is a flat spot at around 4000 rpm( pauses for 2 sec or so) in second gear, It does not do that with the factory tube. I am just curiuos if the 6.0 vortec stock intake tube has anything to do with swirling the air for better flow? I dont go round dragging my truck everyware I go so it does not bother me, just curious, my truck is geared for hauling loads anyway.

Food for thought.

I used to work for Banks, and they make an awesome product. To be honest thought; if you put a Volant and Banks intake side by side, you wont find much difference...*i am not saying much more then that*

The K&N filter seems to be a good alternative, as long as the price is right.

Mr. Banks has a good eye for quality. I can say you would NOT be disappointed.
