oh ok, yea the plastic ones are pretty cool. they really give that 4x4 look. I think i might check and see if my factory aluminum fender trim are still on the truck, if they are i think i am gonna take the big chrome ones off. I like a stock clean looking truck. My toolbox is great, and the side steps are great, but the chrome tail lights and fender flares are a little much for me i think

i pulled off the big chrome things this afternoon and there was nothing under them. I cleaned up underneath where they had been on there and it looks pretty good like that!! Ill try and post some pics sometime tomorow. I just dont think the big black flares would look good on my truck. I like the ones you have one yours 992door.. i think it is cool that they are painted the same color.. which in my case they would have to be painted goldish, or whatever color that is on my truck. I think i am just gonna leave it the way it is tho.

That's a helluva deal for a truck like that. I paid $6500 for my 98 and it had roughly 156,000 miles on it at the time I believe. I love that body style - it looks amazing when lifted. I lifted mine 6" a few months ago, and now I can't help but smile every time I look at it...

same here bud. i love this thing. I do think the painted ones to match the bottom color would look good on my truck but i am more than likely not gonna be messing with that for a while. Thanks for the comments everyone. This is the best forum I have ever been on.
