Default Lower control arms resting on stops !!!!!

When I first bought this truck in 04 I know the lower control arms didn't rest on the stops they had 2 maybe 3" clearance and I remember the front end having some bounce to it going over rough roads. Now I don't like the idea of just turning the bolts on the keys to raise the stops off the arms. That will work but only for a short time until the bars break or just start to sag again. What I'm looking for is better torsion bars or replacing them with new factory ones. Just not sure which is the better way to go, does anyone have any input on this?????
